play_circle_filledExploring The Infinite Intelligence THE VISION II - THE OYSTER
I am standing in a crystal-clear pool of water, which reaches up to my knees. The sky is clear and deep blue in colour, amidst the bright morning sunshine.
Before me is a rock, its tip jutting out of the water, with an Oyster resting on it; its shell open, like a jewelry box. In the middle of the Oyster is a beautiful, white Pearl, that shines radiantly in the sunshine.
I walk over, carefully pick up the Pearl, and bring it closer to my eyes, gratefully taking in its luminous but tender radiance.
I close my eyes for a moment and see the Pearl falling from my hand into the water, giving off a tiny ripple, almost the size of the Pearl, as soon as it touches the water surface.
The Pearl instantly disappears to the bosom of the pool, but the ripple keeps growing larger and larger, until the whole pool becomes on large ripple, that continues to spread beyond its shores and onto the land. It is unstoppable and soon covers the earth and continues to rapidly spread into the Universe.
Mystified by the power of this endless ripple, I open my eyes and thankfully, am greeted by the familiar light of the Pearl, which is still in my hand.
Anxious not to drop it into the water, I walk over to the rock and respectfully place it back into the Oyster. A moment later, the Oyster closes and disappears with the rock under the water.

Here are some questions to ponder.
• Why is the Oyster open when I first see it?
• What does the tender brilliance of the Pearl symbolize?
• Why are my eyes not dazzled by its radiance?
• Why do I perceive the Pearl falling from my hand?
• What is this pool that so readily absorbs the Pearl into its bosom?
• What is the tiny ripple that forms as soon as the Pearl touches the water?
• Why is the ripple spreading so fast?
• What makes the ripple encompass the landmass of the earth? Why does it spread rapidly into the Universe? Where does it end?
• Why does the Oyster shell close as soon as I return the Pearl?
• Why does the Oyster and the rock disappear under the water?
• Any other questions that you may wish to add for your contemplation?
